Not just looking straight on, but from every angle

Watching how the light hits the nose

Because it’s not about “adding filler”
it’s about understanding what needs corrected.

In this case:
– A slight dorsal bump
– A dip through the bridge
– A tip that needed subtle lift

So instead of overfilling,
I placed small, precise amounts to create a straighter, more balanced profile

I take my time with treatments like this, because detail matters. And because of that it doesn’t even look like filler

A timeline of my own mistakes, so you don’t have to make them!

I’ve had overfilled lips.
I’ve had migration.
I’ve dissolved (more than once).

I’ve been the client who didn’t know better. And that’s exactly why I practise the way I do now.

– Your lips need less product than you think
– Overfilling doesn’t give a better result… it gives a distorted one
– Migration isn’t “normal” — it’s a sign something’s not right
– If you’re being encouraged to keep topping up… question it

This is why I’ll often say no, or slow you down.
Not to hold you back, but to protect your result long term.

Yet her mouth looks softer
More lifted
More youthful

When the mouth looks tired or sad,
it’s rarely the lips. It’s the structure around them.

In this case, we supported the corners of the mouth
by treating the marionette lines only.

No extra lip volume.
No unnecessary filler.

Because advanced lip work isn’t just about filling the lips.
It’s about understanding the entire perioral area.

As well as treating the lips, I added a small amount of support under each corner of the mouth to subtly lift and rebalance the lower face

Sometimes the concern isn’t where you think it is, and that’s why we do a full consultation before any treatment.

Ageing Around the Mouth

The mouth area is one of the trickiest places to treat as we age.
The upper face is easier — we can soften lines by reducing movement.
But the mouth? It’s constantly moving… talking, smiling, eating — so we can’t stop that.

For this treatment, I used:
• A small amount of filler to support the corners of the mouth (lifting that ‘sad’ appearance)
• A tiny amount in the lip to restore symmetry and give natural hydration

Filler isn’t always about making things bigger.
Often it’s about restoring what time has taken away 💗
