Men Walking and Talking Gateshead

It’s been brilliant seeing new faces continue to join us week on week, and even better hearing how much people are getting from something so simple.

A walk. Good company. Space to talk if you want to, or just be there.

It feels like the message is really spreading now, and that only happens because people are supporting it. Sharing posts, mentioning it to mates, encouraging others to come along, or simply showing interest in what we’re doing.

So to everyone helping spread the word and supporting the cause, thank you. It genuinely makes a difference and helps more men feel comfortable taking that first step.

We’ll be out again next Wednesday, and every Wednesday after that. So to any men that might like to join us, get yourselves along. 👊🏻

💉 Protect your child's health, measles can be serious.
The MMRV vaccine is safe, and protects against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox. Children need
two doses.
Vaccination not only keeps your child safe but also helps protect others around them.
Not sure if your child is up to date? Check their red book or get in touch with your GP.
It’s never too late to catch up.

A bit of encouragement for the week ahead.

Men Walking and Talking Gateshead is on again this Wednesday. Same place. Same time. As always.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard a few stories of men joining our country-wide walks because someone in their life gave them a nudge. A partner, a friend, a family member.

Sometimes it’s hard to take that first step on your own. Sometimes you just need someone to point you in the right direction.

So whether you’ve been thinking about coming along yourself, or you’ve got someone in your life who might benefit from it, take this as a bit of encouragement.

Come along. Or pass it on.

No pressure when you arrive. Just a walk, good company, and space to be yourself.

You’ll be made welcome. 👊🏻
