It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father Alan Holland on Friday 20th March 2026.

Alan's funeral service and cremation will take place at Saltwell crematorium on Thursday 2nd April at 3.15 pm.

Family flowers only please but donations may be made at the crematorium in aid of The Newcastle Cat and Dog Shelter.

All welcome afterwards for refreshments at The Bank Low Fell 516 Durham Road NE9 6HU.

Here at Darren Baldwin Funeral Service, we are giving families who may wish to use our funeral service in the future the opportunity to document their funeral wishes with ourselves. There is no cost involved, and there is no legal obligation if you wish to change your mind in the future. This is called My Funeral Wishes. All you have to do is contact us and we can arrange a face to face meeting or you can email us and we can take down you funeral wishes, on the attached simple form and keep them on file until the time of need.
