Every Thursday at Age Uk, the Bank, Gateshead (just opposite Tesco), 12-12:45pm

EVERYONE is welcome, all levels, all abilities 🫶🏻

We have a lovely friendly group and are always looking for more to join us.

First class is free then only £4 (cash on the day) for every further class.

A whole year sharing my love for yoga with my West Denton lot ❤️

"Becoming a Yoga teacher was a transformative journey born out of my personal struggles with mental health and challenging times in my life.

Through Yoga, I discovered a powerful tool that not only helped me find inner peace and balance but also equipped me with the skills to navigate life's ups and downs more gracefully.

The practice has taught me to respond to stress with mindfulness rather than react impulsively, allowing me to approach difficult situations with a calm and centred mind-set.

Sharing this journey with others as a teacher brings me immense joy, as I witness first hand how Yoga can empower individuals to cultivate resilience, serenity, and a healthier physical body in their own lives.

Im often asked, 'what is the hardest yoga pose (asana)?' and this is always the answer - . 'Sitting with your own thoughts in complete stillness'.

All of the twists, balances, and flows we move through on the mat are preparation for this moment. Through the physical practice, we learn discipline, focus, and awareness — all tools that guide us inward. Because when the movement fades and the body becomes still, that’s when the real practice begins: observing the mind, softening the breath, and finding peace in presence 🧘🏻‍♀️
