Flouride in toothpaste helps in protecting our teeth against tooth decay, however this is only a small step. We first need to brush twice a day, floss or use interdental brushes and of course reduce our sugar intake.

If your brush looks like the one on the left, bin it and start again. your brush should be changed every three months. Are you brushing too hard? Are you brushing often enough? Are you unsure of your brushing technique? All questions can be answered by Ann if you make an appointment. 👍😁🦷

How do we halt Gum disease? By brushing twice a day and using floss or interdental brushes at least twice a week we can stop our gums bleeding and receeding. Our gums shoud not bleed!
