You don’t have to talk about everything you’re feeling for it to matter.

And you don’t have to wait until things feel worse.

Stress doesn’t always look how you expect.

Sometimes it’s:
• Feeling flat
• Getting tired more easily
• Struggling to focus
• Finding things take more effort

A lot of people don’t say when they’re struggling, even when things feel heavy.

Sometimes it’s:
• Not knowing how to explain it
• Not wanting to worry anyone
• Feeling like you should be able to manage

So it stays quiet.

If that feels familiar, you’re not the only one.

You don’t need a “good enough” reason to ask for support.

It doesn’t have to be severe, dramatic, or fully understood.

If something feels heavy, confusing or ongoing - that’s enough.

You’re allowed to talk about it.

Sometimes stress shows up emotionally, not practically.

You might notice:
• feeling more sensitive than usual
• getting frustrated quickly
• feeling low without a clear reason

It’s easy to dismiss.

But those shifts are often signals.

Not all boundaries are big or dramatic.

Sometimes it’s:
• logging off on time
• taking a proper break
• not replying straight away
• saying “I’ll come back to that”

Small boundaries can reduce a lot of stress over time.

What’s one small boundary you could try this week?

Burnout doesn’t usually start with a breaking point.

It builds slowly.

Often it looks like:
• saying yes when you’re already stretched
• feeling constantly behind
• losing energy for things you usually enjoy
• needing more effort for simple tasks

By the time it’s obvious, it’s been there for a while.

What might your early signs be?

A lot of people say they’re coping.

But coping can still feel exhausting.

Holding everything together.
Getting through the day.
Not really switching off.

It’s easy to minimise it.
To tell yourself it’s “fine”.

But if it feels heavy, that matters.

You don’t have to wait until it gets worse

You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable to get support.

A lot of people come to therapy when they’re:
• coping, but tired
• managing, but overwhelmed
• functioning, but not feeling like themselves

That’s enough.

If something feels off, you’re allowed to take it seriously.

Stress doesn’t always look how you expect.

It’s not always panic or overwhelm.

Sometimes it’s:
• feeling constantly tired
• struggling to switch off
• being more irritable than usual
• losing focus
• feeling a bit “flat”

Easy to ignore. Easy to push through.

But those early signs matter.

What have you been noticing in yourself lately?

01/04/2026

As March ends and April begins, take a moment.

Not to review what you’ve done. Just to notice how you feel.

A lot of people are holding things together right now.
Getting through. Staying “on top” of things.

But that doesn’t always mean it feels okay.

So ask yourself - how am I, really?

You don’t need to fix anything straight away. Just noticing is a good place to start.
