"Morton's Neuroma occurs when the tissue around the nerves between the toes thickens, often due to increased pressure on the forefoot. Common risk factors include high heels, tight shoes, flat or very high arches, prolonged standing, repetitive running or jumping, prior foot injuries, and tight calves (Chow 2025; Ali et al. 2025).
Symptoms can include burning, tingling, or sharp pain between the toes, often worsening when walking or wearing tight footwear. Early intervention can make a real difference: footwear adjustments, targeted stretches, and strengthening exercises help reduce pressure on the nerve, improve foot mechanics, and prevent further irritation.
At GX Physio, we focus on personalized strategies to keep your feet pain-free and functionalβbecause healthy feet mean a stronger, more comfortable step. π¦Άβ¨"
