Following the Mounjaro price increase last week, some of you are unsure about moving to Wegovy because the trials don't show the same weight loss.

The results shown in the slides are using Wegovy (semaglutide) vs placebo

What you can see is the extra weight loss in this population with the "triple dose". There is no official announcement from Novo Nordisk, yet about licensing or availability but hopefully, it will be this year.

Today's news about Eli Lilly increasing their prices for Mounjaro feels like a kick in the teeth for those who have already started their GLP-1 weight loss journey.

some of you will switch to Wegovy, due to price, knowing the weight loss is likely to be slower and lower (based on head-to head trial results).

If however, you're thinking about stopping your GLP-1 completely, please watch my video.
