I am a qualified acupuncturist who has completed a three and a half year BSc Honours Degree at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. As a result of having successfully completed this course I have been issued with a Licentiate in acupuncture which means that i have had three and a half thousand hours of acupuncture training. The place where i work is at a home clinic and the room where i practise has been given approval from the environmental health department which means that it conforms to all the required health and safety legislation. I have undergone further training in the use of Dr Tan's Balance Method which is a recognised system of acupuncture that is highly effective in the management of pain. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council which is a professional body for the acupuncture profession. When you have developed through your meditation practice you will no longer be bound by certain characteristics and personality traits. You will have freedom in your ability to express yourself and the flexibility to be whatever person you want to be in any given situation. This is the potential when you meditate because you won't be held back by your limiting personality. The quietness in your mind removes your set character and makes you a blank canvas so that you can be whoever you want to be🙏🙏

This is the power of meditation. Very often we are defined by our past and we identify with our thoughts and feelings about the future which almost certainly leads to pain. This can keep us trapped in a world of disconnection and dissatisfaction. Meditation connects you to the present moment so that you are able to detach yourself from past and future so that you can live freely in the here and now without attachment, without the feeling of loss🙏🙏

So don't just talk about who you are and what you want to give, be what you say you are and lead by example. Talking a big game doesn't mean much unless you play hard. Lead by example for yourself and others, this is how you bring more to your life and give more to the world🙏🙏

It comes from having an unshakeable feeling inside you that has such strong roots that nothing or no one can take it away from you. This is where you will arrive if you bring meditation into your life and make it a priority. Meditation is the path to removing the false self in you so that your true self can be felt and expressed. The true self is constant and the happiness that you feel when you are one with your true self is always with you. The happiness that you feel when you identify with the false self will never last because it never penetrates your core, it is always stuck on the surface and we are not surface beings, we are the greatest depths of the ocean, it is who we are. Meditation takes you to the bottom of the ocean where you experience the truth of life, this is also your own truth. This is where you will find everlasting joy🙏🙏

There are great joys in life that are not always good for us but give us so much enjoyment that they are worth having. The things that we think are bad for us are only bad if we do them excessively to the point where they negatively affect our life. But if we remain balanced with our choices then there is no reason why we should not experience the beauty of chocolate, cake, ice cream and all the rest of it because we need to squeeze the joy out of all areas of life, not just certain areas. Don't deny yourself but be aware of how things affect you so that you can make intelligent choices about your mental, physical and spiritual health🙏🙏

Meditate at the start and end of every day even if it's only for 30 seconds because doing it in the morning will help you have a better day and doing it before bed will help you have a better sleep🙏🙏

I am in a situation at the moment where I believe strongly in something but if I act totally on that belief then it is likely to make things very stressful for me. We should always take action according to what feels right but there can be those times when the consequences can make things worse for yourself and your situation. This is why we should consider what the consequences could be of our actions before deciding what to do. We should not take blind action but an action rooted in awareness and clarity. Pursue what feels right, but simply be aware🙏🙏

I remember a time when I would feel like I had to be like everyone else in order to fit in and for people to like me. I don't feel like that anymore. Meditation brings joy in how you feel about yourself so that your choices are no longer about how others perceive you, they are about expressing what is right and true for you. If you feel that you need to improve the state of your mental health then look for something that is going to create a permanent change not a temporary one. We always hear that people should go and exercise to improve mental health but the problem with this is that you will be dependant on exercise for the rest if your life if you want to stay relatively balanced emotionally. I am talking about something that will allow you to create a permanent shift in how you feel so that you no longer need to be dependent on anything to feel good, it will simply be how you live without effort.
