Shamanism is a belief system that has been practised for tens of thousands of years across the globe; there is evidence in the cave art and artifacts that have been discovered. The Shaman of the village would be the wise one that would heal and guide the villagers in their everyday life. One of the many ways in which they would play their role would be by journeying to the spirit world to gain information on the correct plant or herb to use to cure a person's ailment. It is the role of the Shamanic Practitioner in the western world to help you connect with yourself on a deep level. Gaining a connection to your Power Animals and Spirit Guides can be of great benefit to you to enable you to see the world from a different perspective, see that events happen in your life are for you, not to you and to help you heal yourself. There has been an interest within me from a young age in how we interact with the world, how we connect with animals, with our natural surroundings and more importantly to our own inner worlds. Learning how to be a Shamanic Practitioner was the starting point of finding my way home to myself. Archangel Metatron and me:
