Support Worker required

Location: Eastchurch, Isle of Sheppey, Sheerness and Sittingbourne

Full UK Driving licence is a must as well as Business Insurance.

Hourly rate: depending on experience and qualifications
This role is to support Child (Special Children with needs) and Adult day to day routine, this will include personal care, social activities & healthcare tasks.
No day is the same with this role & you will be enabling the client to achieve maximum benefit in his everyday family life. This post will suit someone that is reliable, flexible, able to use their own initiative and has a good sense of humour.
Shifts available: 7am till 12pm, 10am till 2pm and 4pm till 9:30pm with the opportunity for over time

I wanted to share the below email with you all, this really did put a smile on our faces and makes me so proud of our care team.

I am sorry it has taken me a while to send you this feedback about Pauline and the amazing care she gave my dad, J.C
Pauline cared for my dad for between 6-7 months and she continuously went over and above to ensure my dad was comfortable at home, without Pauline my dad would have had to be moved into full time care sooner. She quickly learned what medication he needed and when, reminded me when prescriptions needed to be collected and regularly left me shopping lists of what dad wanted.
And she single handily saved my sanity. As an only child it can be tough to juggle life and caring for an elderly parent but Pauline helped me through and thank you will never be enough.
If I ever needed to contact the office all your team were kind and courteous and I’ll always be thankful for all of you doing your jobs and doing them so so well.

A lady walked into our office yesterday with a basket of goodies and asked us to please pass it on to the wonderful care worker who looked after her Dad on his morning calls when he needed so much help towards the end, she said she was blown away with her dedication to getting him the help he needed and couldn't thank her enough. The care worker was Pauline.
Pauline we are lucky to have you working for DCE as was J to have you on his call, well done and thank you for helping J and his daughter so much.
She also wanted to say a really big thank you to Sammy who was on the lates, Sammy once again thank you very much for all your support to J and your hard work

I am sure you have all seen the news over the last 24 hours, as a mum and aunty I can’t start to imagine how the families are feeling after such a terrible unprovoked attack on their children. Our love and thoughts go out to them all.
Let’s all remember life is precious and so are our children so cherish them madly, hug them often, tell them you love them daily, and never take them for granted.
