🌟 A Fun-Filled Day at Grace Manor! 🌟

Today, John set himself a challenge with a spelling test — and not only did he do brilliantly, he also surprised himself by winning five games of carpet bowls in a row!

Meanwhile, Olive enjoyed a lovely afternoon playing dominoes, all while we chatted about Christmas plans and shared our favourite cat stories. 🐾🎄

✨ Lovely Evening Out for Grace Manor! ✨

We wrapped up and headed out for a wonderful evening at The Bredhurst Bell. We enjoyed delicious food and sat chatting about all things Christmas and cruises — the perfect way to spend a cold evening!

A huge thank-you to Ben from the Myley Bus group for getting us there and for being so kind and helpful throughout the night.
And thank you to Caroline for joining us and supporting us — we loved having you with us!

Great evening, great food, great company. ❤️

🎶 A Wonderful Afternoon at Grace Manor! 🎶

Today our residents were treated to fantastic live entertainment from the talented Neil Mack — and as always, nothing beats the magic of his fiddle! 🎻✨

We were also delighted to welcome the children from Twydall Primary School, whose visit brought so many smiles and added to the joyful atmosphere.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the classic songs, the energy, and the heartwarming moments shared together.

A big thank you to Neil for entertaining us all — we can’t wait to have you back again soon! 💛

🎄 Grace Manor Christmas Fete & Raffle 🎄

Sunday Relaxation at Grace Manor 🌤️

Today was all about calm moments and simple pleasures. Rita relaxed with her audiobook, Lewis and Norma enjoyed some peaceful colouring. Pauline continued with her lovely knitting and Anne shared a special moment with Simba — and Simba was very happy exploring new cosy spots to unwind. 🐾

🌺 Armistice Day – Lest We Forget

Today, on Armistice Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service, and those who continue to stand for peace and freedom around the world.

At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent — marking the end of the First World War in 1918. We honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all who served, and we reflect on the cost of war and the value of peace.

❤️ Remembrance Afternoon at Grace Manor ❤️

Today, we gathered together for a special Remembrance Afternoon Tea, reflecting on the meaning of the day and sharing heartfelt stories of loved ones who served. It was a time of gratitude, pride, and remembrance.

Also here are the photos of our beautiful poppy display being created — truly a labour of love! A huge thank you to Gabriele for her wonderful many crocheted poppies, and to Belinda, Caroline and everyone that worked so hard crafting poppies from felt. 🌺

And of course, a special mention to Simba and Nala, who wore their purple poppies — lovingly crocheted by Gabriele — to honour all the animals who served alongside our heroes. They wore them proudly and looked absolutely adorable! 🐾💜

We remember with love, gratitude, and pride — today and always.

This afternoon, Beryl got creative making beautiful Christmas cards — it’s never too early to start spreading some festive cheer!

Earlier this morning, Jackie enjoyed some special time with Simba, and Anne was treated to a relaxing manicure. 🐾 💅 💖
