H**e

H**e in Mythology: The Goddess of Youth

H**e, the daughter of Zeus and Hera, was the Greek goddess of youth and the divine cupbearer of Mount Olympus. She served ambrosia and nectar to the gods, ensuring their eternal vitality.

She was also associated with service, renewal, and the transition from adolescence to adulthood. Her name itself means “youth” or “prime of life.”

H**e’s role was more than just servitude; she represented the vitality and fresh energy that kept the gods immortal.

She was eventually married to Heracles after his ascension to Godhood, symbolizing restoration and the rewards of perseverance.

H**e in Astrology: The Asteroid of Service, Renewal, and Youth
Asteroid H**e (Number 6) in astrology carries themes of service, caregiving, vitality, and transitions. Where H**e is located in your natal chart can show how you give to others, how you handle responsibilities, and where you bring youthful energy or renewal into life. It can also highlight where you may struggle with dependency or enabling others.

H**e in the Signs:
• H**e in Aries – Youthful enthusiasm, a strong need for independence, but may struggle with impulsivity in helping others.

• H**e in Ta**us – Steady and reliable in acts of service, finds security in caretaking, but may resist change.

• H**e in Gemini – A communicator and connector, often assisting others through words, ideas, or education.

• H**e in Cancer – Nurturing and family-oriented, deeply tied to emotional caregiving, sometimes prone to codependency.

• H**e in Leo – Helps others shine, brings joy and encouragement, but may struggle with self-importance in service.

• H**e in Virgo – A natural caretaker, detail-oriented, and devoted to helping, though may struggle with perfectionism.

• H**e in Libra – Balances relationships, offers diplomatic support, and brings harmony, but may avoid confrontation.

• H**e in Scorpio – A deep and transformative giver, often drawn to healing roles but must watch for power struggles.

• H**e in Sagittarius – Inspires others with wisdom and adventure, gives through teaching, but may struggle with inconsistency.

• H**e in Capricorn – A responsible, disciplined caregiver, helps others through structure, but can take on too much.

• H**e in Aquarius – Provides help in unconventional ways, drawn to collective service, but may detach emotionally.

• H**e in Pisces – A deeply compassionate, intuitive helper, but may struggle with boundaries and self-sacrifice.

H**e in the Houses:
• 1st House – Personal identity is tied to service and youthful energy. Others may see you as a caregiver or someone who reinvents yourself.

• 2nd House – Service is linked to self-worth and material stability. Financial themes may be tied to caregiving.

• 3rd House – Helping through communication, learning, and sharing knowledge.

• 4th House – Family-based caregiving, often taking on roles of emotional or physical support in the home.

• 5th House – Creativity, children, and playfulness are outlets for H**e’s energy.

• 6th House – A strong placement for caretaking, healthcare, or service work, but must be mindful of burnout.

• 7th House – A need to serve in relationships, but must ensure balance in giving and receiving.

• 8th House – Transformational service, helping others through crisis or deep emotional work.

• 9th House – H**e expresses itself through teaching, travel, and expanding others’ perspectives.

• 10th House – Service is tied to career and public reputation.

• 11th House – Serving the collective, a natural fit for humanitarian efforts.

• 12th House – A deeply spiritual placement, often linked to selfless service but must be cautious of martyrdom.

H**e’s Shadow Side: Dependency and Over-Giving
H**e’s mythology keeps us mindful that service is sacred, but it also carries a caution. If you give too much without setting boundaries, you risk becoming an enabler or losing yourself in the needs of others.

In a birth chart, H**e can indicate where one may struggle with feeling taken for granted or where they might fall into patterns of servitude out of obligation rather than genuine desire. Learning to balance giving and receiving is key.

H**e’s Gifts: The Power of Renewal
By understanding H**e’s influence in your astrology, you can learn to embrace service as empowerment rather than sacrifice and step into your evolving roles with confidence—just as H**e did on Mount Olympus.

How to Find H**e in Your Birth Chart:
To discover where the asteroid H**e is in your natal chart, you’ll need to use an astrology tool that allows you to calculate asteroids.

By using your date of birth, time and place then searching for the asteroid (6) you will find her placement.

Once you have H**e’s position, you can refer to the descriptions for its placement in different signs and houses, as well as how it interacts with other planets or points in your chart. This will give you insight into how H**e’s energy manifests in your life.

By exploring H**e’s position, you’ll understand where in your life you’re most likely to give service, experience renewal, or struggle with over-giving.

Good morning beautiful souls Happy Tuesday 😊

Healing the Maternal Line

Motherhood is more than a role in this life, it is a sacred lineage and initiation, woven through generations in both love and wounds.

Just as we inherit physical traits from our mothers, we also carry unspoken emotions, karmic imprints, and ancestral patterns passed down through the maternal line. Some of these patterns are gifts such as wisdom, resilience, intuition. Though, others hold the weight of unresolved pain, unhealed wounds, and deep emotional cycles that continue to repeat until they are acknowledged and healed.

Astrology does offer a cosmic map to explore these inherited energies. Through the Moon, the 4th House, karmic planets, and synastry between a mother and child, we can uncover the invisible threads that connect us to past generations and more importantly, learn how to break free from cycles that no longer serve us.

For those who feel the weight of their maternal lineage, astrology can provide not only understanding but also healing. Whether you are a mother seeking to nurture differently than you were raised, or a child unraveling the patterns of your past, this knowledge is a powerful tool of transformation.

🌒 How the Moon and the 4th House reveal maternal patterns

♾️ The karmic indicators between mother and child

✨ How astrology can help break cycles and foster your healing

By understanding the cosmic blueprint of our mother wounds, we reclaim the power to heal ourselves, nurture the next generation, and transform the divine feminine energy within us in this life.

Understanding the Mother Wound
The mother wound lives in the body, in the subconscious, in the ancestral memory that is passed down through generations of women. It’s the grief of what was never received. The ache of emotional absence, control, or unmet needs. The longing for nurturance that came too little or too late.

While the term has become more commonly used in healing spaces, its roots stretch far beyond modern psychology. The mother wound can represent not only the pain we carry from our own maternal relationship, but also the collective and ancestral grief of being mothered by generations of women who were never given the tools to do better. Many of them lived in times where survival outweighed self-reflection, where emotional intelligence wasn’t supported, and where intuition—especially divine feminine intuition—was often silenced.

Today, mothers are connecting with the collective in ways that were never possible before. We are learning, remembering, and healing together in real time. We’re receiving insights that our ancestors may have not had access to, and with that comes the sacred responsibility to break patterns, not repeat them.

In spiritual terms, the mother wound is often a soul agreement and a karmic inheritance meant not to punish, but to teach. Many souls come into this life with a contract to heal the maternal line, to break the cycle of emotional suppression, abandonment, or over-control. I felt this and saw it through my birth chart and the synastry of my children’s charts to mine. For some, this looks like reparenting yourselves. For others, it means mothering your own children differently. In either case, the wound asks to be seen and not blamed, but witnessed and transmuted.

Astrologically, the mother wound often makes itself known through hard aspects to the Moon, 4th house challenges, and even Saturnian or Plutonic energies tied to family lineage. But before we explore those cosmic clues, it’s important to remember: healing this wound is not about perfection. It’s about presence. It’s about becoming aware of the patterns, the emotional echoes, and the sacred invitation to transform them.

The Moon’s Role in Astrology
In astrology, the Moon truly is our emotional heartbeat. It governs our instincts, our inner child, our need for safety, and the way we receive and process nurturing. It is the first energetic imprint we receive, often before we’re even born, shaped by the emotional environment of the womb and the energetic presence of the mother.

More than any other planet, the Moon tells the story of how we were held—or not held. It reveals our core emotional patterns, how we self-soothe, and how we internalize care. It also uncovers what we unconsciously seek in motherhood, whether as daughters or as mothers ourselves.

As a mother, I attuned to my son’s birth chart very early on and I’m so grateful I did. My 8 planet stellium in Aquarius star child came into this world with heavy 12th house placements, and understanding those energies helped me meet him where he was. It gave me insight into the inner world he wouldn’t yet have words for, and helped me become more aware of the spiritual and emotional landscape he would grow through. It also taught me that him and I have been here before together.

One of the most important things I’ve learned is this: when it comes to children’s astrology, it’s the Moon sign, not the Sun, that tells the truest story early in life. The Moon governs their comfort, their needs, and their emotional safety. It is who they are when they need to be held.

The Moon’s sign, house placement, and aspects to other planets show us how the mother wound may manifest. For example

• 🌙 A Moon in Capricorn ♑ may reflect a mother who was emotionally distant, overly structured, or carrying too much responsibility.

• 🌙 A Moon in Cancer ♋, if poorly aspected, might indicate enmeshment or emotional overdependence.

• ard aspects from Saturn 🪐 can point to emotional coldness or restriction, while Pluto 🔥 may suggest themes of control, intensity, or even trauma passed down through the maternal line.

And yet, the Moon is not only where the wound resides, it’s also where the healing can begin. As we learn to work with our Moon, we become aware of the emotional needs that were neglected, the inner child that still waits for comfort, and the nurturing that only we can now give ourselves.

For mothers, understanding the Moon in their own chart as well as their child’s, opens a powerful portal. It allows us to break unconscious patterns and choose emotional responses that create safety, connection, and healing rather than repetition. In this way, the Moon becomes a sacred compass, guiding us not only through our own emotional cycles, and back to my previous article…. Our menstrual cycles. Also through the work of re-mothering ourselves and mothering the next generation differently.

The Moon Through the Signs: What Each Child (and Inner Child) Needs
Every Moon sign expresses its emotional nature in a different way. Understanding your child’s (or your own) Moon sign can offer a powerful key to nurturing in a way that supports emotional safety, intuitive development, and soul connection.

Here’s a glimpse into each Moon sign’s emotional landscape:

♈ Aries Moon – The Independent Flame
Needs freedom, quick validation, and space to express bold feelings. These souls may have experienced a mother who was busy, assertive, or emotionally reactive. Healing comes from learning to self-soothe without suppressing the fire.

♉ Ta**us Moon – The Grounded Heart
Needs physical comfort, stability, and gentle touch. Often raised by practical or emotionally steady mothers—or in some cases, emotionally unavailable ones who offered material care over emotional depth. Healing comes through sensory rituals and safety in slowness.

♊ Gemini Moon – The Curious Communicator
Needs mental stimulation, conversation, and play. These children may have had emotionally inconsistent mothers or felt like they had to “stay light” to avoid discomfort. Healing is found in emotional honesty, journaling, and being deeply heard.

♋ Cancer Moon – The Deep Nurturer
Needs emotional attunement, protection, and softness. May have been enmeshed with or emotionally overwhelmed by the mother. Healing comes through learning healthy emotional boundaries and self-nurturing.

♌ Leo Moon – The Bright Child
Needs recognition, praise, and emotional warmth. May have had a mother who expected performance or who dimmed their light. Healing is found in self-expression, creativity, and allowing themselves to shine without guilt.

♍ Virgo Moon – The Inner Analyzer
Needs order, predictability, and quiet support. Often had mothers who were critical or overly focused on doing things “right.” Healing comes from self-acceptance and learning that perfection isn’t love.

♎ Libra Moon – The Harmonizer
Needs peace, emotional balance, and fairness. These children may have felt responsible for the emotional tone in the home. Healing arises through honoring their own emotions—even when they feel messy or disruptive.

♏ Scorpio Moon – The Intuitive Deep Diver
Needs emotional truth, privacy, and loyalty. Often had intense emotional experiences with the mother—control, secrecy, or power dynamics. Healing happens through shadow work, safe vulnerability, and reclaiming personal power.

♐ Sagittarius Moon – The Free Spirit
Needs freedom, truth, and wide open emotional space. May have experienced a mother who was emotionally distant or dismissive of emotional depth. Healing comes through philosophical understanding, movement, and emotional exploration.

♑ Capricorn Moon – The Responsible Soul
Needs structure, respect, and long-term trust. Often felt the need to grow up fast, or to be emotionally self-sufficient. Healing is found in allowing softness and reconnecting with the inner child.

♒ Aquarius Moon – The Cosmic Observer
Needs autonomy, intellectual connection, and emotional neutrality. These souls may have had unpredictable or emotionally detached mothers. Healing comes through embracing uniqueness and cultivating emotional intimacy in their own way.

♓ Pisces Moon – The Empathic Dreamer
Needs spiritual connection, softness, and non-verbal understanding. May have absorbed the emotional burdens of the household. Healing is found through boundaries, creative outlets, and sacred solitude.

Identifying Maternal Patterns in the Birth Chart
While the Moon holds the key to our emotional body, maternal patterns are rarely isolated to one placement. They are woven throughout the birth chart, echoing through houses, aspects, and the stories our planets are telling. When we begin to track the mother wound astrologically, we uncover not just our personal experience, but the emotional imprint of generations before us.

The Moon’s Aspects
The aspects to your Moon, especially hard ones (squares, oppositions, tight conjunctions with outer planets) offer insight into the kind of mothering you received and how it was processed emotionally.

• A Moon-Saturn square might suggest emotional repression or coldness from the maternal figure, instilling a sense of needing to earn love.

• A Moon-Pluto conjunction can indicate deep emotional entanglement, secrecy, or generational trauma passed through the mother.

• A Moon-Neptune connection may show confusion, blurred emotional boundaries, or a mother who was emotionally unavailable or lost in her own world.

These placements don’t cast blame, they illuminate. They help us understand where our emotional needs were unmet, distorted, or misunderstood. And through that awareness, we begin to shift.

The Fourth House (IC) and Family Lineage
The IC, or Imum Coeli, marks the base of the chart and the deepest part of our roots. It represents our foundation, our ancestral home, and our internalized sense of safety. The sign on the IC and any planets within the 4th house can speak volumes about the emotional tone of your upbringing and the energetic inheritance passed through the mother line.

• Planets here may carry karmic imprints.

• A 4th house Pluto, for example, might suggest a household shaped by power struggles, secrecy, or generational intensity.

• Saturn in the 4th could show emotional scarcity, strict tradition, or deep responsibility felt toward the family line.

When we witness these patterns without judgment, we create space to honor our story and choose something different going forward.

Chiron and the Wound of Identity
Often overlooked in family astrology, Chiron—the Wounded Healer—can reveal where we carry shame or pain related to our upbringing, and where we are called to offer compassion to ourselves. Chiron’s aspects to the Moon or its placement in the 4th house can often tie into deep inner child pain, or feeling fundamentally misunderstood in early life.

Karmic Indicators Between Mother & Child
There is an unspoken knowing between a mother and her child. Something ancient, something beyond biology or circumstance. We’re in a time, I believe as mothers, where this is a massive call happening to connect mothers back to this innate and sacred knowing. In astrology, this connection can be seen through synastry, if you’re unaware, this is the relationship between two charts and the karmic threads that bind souls across lifetimes.

Many children are born to mothers who are here to complete or heal a story. Some come in to teach. Some come in to mirror. And some come in to break cycles that have existed for generations. Whether that karmic link is gentle or heavy, its purpose is always evolution.

The South Node: Echoes of Past Lives
In karmic astrology, the South Node represents where we’ve been before, what we’ve mastered, what we cling to, and what we’re ready to evolve beyond. When a mother’s personal planets (especially the Moon or Saturn) touch a child’s South Node, it may indicate a past-life bond, often one of protection, obligation, or emotional familiarity.

This can create deep attachment, but also resistance when the child begins to grow in a direction that challenges old dynamics.

Likewise, a child’s planets on the mother’s South Node might suggest that the child carries something unresolved from her past. Such as an energy that comes into her life not to punish, but to reawaken a forgotten piece of herself from that life.

Moon & Saturn Interaspects: Emotional Karma
When the Moon in one chart connects with Saturn in the other, especially through tight conjunctions, squares, or oppositions. There is often a soul contract involving emotional responsibility, boundaries, or restriction. These dynamics may feel heavy, even burdensome, especially early in life.

But within them lies the invitation to develop emotional maturity, patience, and compassion for one another.

Pluto, Chiron, and Generational Wounds
When Pluto or Chiron in one chart aspects the Moon, IC, or personal planets in another, the relationship often holds the potential for profound healing, but also a deep activation. These placements can trigger unhealed wounds, past life trauma, and power struggles..but only because there is a shared soul-level desire for transformation.

Many mothers carry the very wounds their child came to transcend and vice versa. These pairings can feel intense, sacred, and at times, complicated. But with awareness, they become mirrors for healing, and opportunities for both souls to evolve beyond what’s been carried for lifetimes.

Healing the Maternal Lineage
Healing the maternal line doesn’t happen all at once. It unfolds slowly, intimately and sometimes through tears, sometimes in silence, sometimes in the middle of a moment where you simply choose to respond differently than your mother did. It is a sacred, cyclical process, one that asks for presence more than perfection.

Astrology is a powerful mirror in this work. By identifying the emotional wounds, karmic dynamics, and ancestral patterns within our charts, we begin to bring the unconscious to light. And once seen, they no longer have the same hold over us.

Use Your Awareness as Alchemy
The first step is simply awareness. When we see our Moon square Saturn and say, “I’ve internalized scarcity and emotional distance” we can soften. When we notice that our child’s chart mirrors a wound we’ve carried for years, we can pause before projecting it onto them. The act of witnessing is an act of healing.

Lunar Work & Emotional Ritual
Because the Moon governs our emotional memory, working with the lunar cycles becomes a natural tool for healing.

• Use New Moons to set intentions around inner child work, emotional safety, or releasing ancestral shame.

• Use Full Moons to honor grief, offer forgiveness (to self and others), or close old maternal stories with ritual and reverence.

Simple acts like journaling under the moon, writing letters to your matrilineal ancestors, or even creating moon water with an intention to heal the mother line can carry profound weight when done with presence. The more we align with the Moon— our own, our child’s, and the collective lunar rhythm — the more attuned we become to the emotional tides that are asking to be honored and released.

Breaking the Pattern Through Conscious Choice
Healing the mother wound is not about vilifying our mothers, nor is it about being the perfect parent. It is about choosing awareness over autopilot. It’s about asking:

• “Am I reacting from my wound or responding from love?”

• “Is this belief mine, or something I inherited?”

• “What does my inner child need right now, and how can I offer that to myself—so I don’t seek it from someone who couldn’t give it?”

When we begin to answer these questions, we become the transmuters of the lineage. The ones who stop the wound from spiraling into the next generation.

The Healing Isn’t Just for You, It’s for Them Too
Whether your child has just entered this world or is still choosing when to arrive, your healing reaches them. Energetically, emotionally, and even astrologically. The shifts you make in your own responses and patterns are not small and they ripple through timelines.

This work is sacred. This work is slow. And this work is absolutely enough, exactly as you are doing it.

Practical Steps for Mothers
Healing doesn’t have to be loud, or visible, or shared with the world. Often, the most profound transformation happens in the small moments: the breath before reacting, the whispered “I’m safe” to your inner child, the decision to nurture your children from a place of presence instead of pain.

Here are some gentle, heart-centered ways to begin or deepen your healing:

1. Learn Your Moon (and Your Child’s)

If you do nothing else, start here. Learn your Moon sign (your emotional rhythm, your triggers, your needs) and then learn your child’s. Let it inform how you respond, how you soothe, and how you create safety. Your Moon doesn’t lie, and neither does theirs.

2. Create Moon Rituals Together

Even simple practices such as lighting a candle during a Full Moon, making moon water together, and speaking intentions can foster connection and energetic awareness between you and your child. Let them grow up seeing that emotions have a rhythm, and that it’s safe to honor them. It's also a bonus attuning them to these rituals and giving them the space to discover this path as well.

3. Reparent Yourself Intentionally

Pay attention to when your child’s emotions trigger your own inner child. Ask:

• “What did I need at this age that I didn’t get?”

• “Can I give that to myself now—and offer something different to them?”

This is where deep lineage healing begins.

4. Break the Silence Around Your Story

Whether through journaling, voice notes, or soft conversations, begin naming what hurt you. The more we give voice to our story, the less power it holds. Naming patterns is the first step to releasing them.

5. Trust That Small Shifts Are Enough

You don’t need to be fully healed to raise conscious children. You don’t need to know all the answers to create safety. Each time you pause, reflect, and choose differently..you are healing not only your child, but the child you once were along with it.

These steps aren’t meant to be a checklist. They are invitations. Choose what resonates, let the rest rest, and know that your awareness alone is already reshaping your lineage.

A Sacred Invitation
Healing the maternal line is not something that happens overnight. It is a soul’s work which is a lifelong unfolding that stretches through timelines, across lifetimes, and into the hearts of those yet to be born.

Astrology doesn’t give us all the answers, but it gives us a map. A language. A mirror. It reveals the emotional inheritances we carry, the patterns we repeat without realizing, and the karmic threads that bind and beckon us forward. It shows us where we’ve come from, and offers clues for how to change the story.

If you are the one who has heard the call to stop the cycle, to mother differently, to mother yourself…you are already doing the work. You are already healing the line.

Tuning into your child’s astrology is more than a curiosity, it’s an act of devotion. An offering to the future. A chance to end what hurt you, and nurture what will heal them.

Let the Moon be your guide. Let your chart be a lantern. And let every conscious choice become part of your family’s return to wholeness.
