Today we had the pleasure of Tia joining us as part of her D of E programme. Tia is the daughter of our General Manager, Marta🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Tia spent time with the residents completing activities and even spent time with our hospitality team assisting with meal service🥘 Tia is a natural!

We spent the afternoon making Jelly which we all get to enjoy once it’s set and ready to eat.
I love mine with icecream, how about you? 🍨

It’s safe to say, the residents loved Tia and she has made an impression on the home and is welcome back anytime 🥰

Today we took a trip down to the Zoo 🐯

We all loved seeing the animals and thoroughly enjoyed seeing and learning🐒

It’s safe to say, lots of laughs were had, we all got our steps in and now we are all ready to relax and enjoy the nice evening 💤

What a lovely day for our team and resident, roll on the warmer weather (when it eventually arrives) so more trips like this can be held🌞

Despite the weather not being 100% our side today and experiencing a lot of rain this afternoon☔️, here at Osbern Manor, we still made the best of our Summer Fair🎡

We all still had great time. Lot of laughs, smiles, drinks and food🍹
We had our outdoor bar open - drinks flowing, as well as the BBQ on the go producing some lovely hotdogs and burgers for all 🌭🍔

We had lots of different stools, from handmade cards, tombola, face painting, popcorn, tin cans, coconut shy, hook a duck, raffle, hand made bracelets and many more 🎟️

We would like to thank everyone who came today and supported us, considering this was our first proper Summer Fair now that we have all three floors operational🌻

We have managed to raise £253 for our residents fund and the donations are still rolling in🪙

Again, we thank you all for joining us and being a part of this day. We hope you will all continue to join and support us in future events that we have planned for the rest of the year 🥰 - keep your eyes peeled

This morning we played some target games in one of our lounges, including hoopla, bean bag toss and darts. Our residents got competitive and had a laugh whilst playing games that promote hand eye coordination 🎯🏀🥏❤️

This afternoon we had our knit and chat session in the bistro, where many laughs were shared 🧶🪡☕️❤️

Finally we all sang happy birthday for one of our lovely residents on her special day. A very fun and wholesome day 💛

Today started off with a visit from the childminders, where our residents were playing and laughing with the children 👶🧸🚂❤️

Followed by a game of play your cards right, or “higher and lower”, which was a right laugh ♠️♥️♣️♦️

After lunch we made ice cream sundaes and chatted over cups of tea! Lots of fun had by all 🍦🍧🍭💗

We’ve been busy over the last couple of days!

Yesterday afternoon we took advantage of the sunshine coming out and played a game of boules in the garden, before a chit chat in the sunshine ☀️⚾️🌱

This morning we had a visit from G fit, where many of our residents got stuck in with some armchair exercises. Lots of laughs were shared! 🛋️⚽️💛💪🏻

This afternoon we did arts and crafts, making lots of cards ready to be sold at the summer fair on Saturday! 🎨👩‍🎨🥳☀️
