Anxiety is more than worry. It's a whole mind and body experience. Try these tips to help manage your anxiety
➡️ Try mindfulness and meditation to engage your parasympathetic nervous system - this can help you feel more regulated. See my blog from last year for ideas: peaceinmind.co.uk/rest-and-digest
➡️ Create a calming toolkit - collect soothing things that help tap into your different senses. This could be a soft blanket, a playlist, a scented candle, a picture, etc.
➡️ Look for triggers and patterns. Does your anxiety increase in certain situations? Is it affected when you eat or drink certain things, e.g. caffeine, alcohol, etc?
➡️ Understand your anxiety by journaling and / or speaking to someone
