🫧 World Hand Hygiene Day 🫧

Handwashing may seem simple, but it plays a vital role in helping to prevent the spread of infection.

At Bluebird Care Swale and Medway, effective hand hygiene is part of the everyday care we provide and is an essential part of keeping our customers and carers safe. Across health and social care, including throughout the NHS, clean hands remain one of the most important ways to reduce the risk of infection.

🚶‍♀️💙 10,000 steps a day for May 💙🚶‍♂️

This month, our office team at Bluebird Care Medway and Swale are challenging ourselves to complete 10,000 steps every day in May to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

That may not sound like a huge challenge to everyone, but when you work full-time at a desk, it can be a big jump in daily activity - and for some of us, it definitely will be. That is what makes it a challenge worth doing.

We are taking this on as a team to raise money for an important cause and support the many families affected by cancer.

🌿 🍃 🪴 🌱 It’s National Gardening Week. 🌷 🌼 🌸 🌻

Gardening can be wonderful for wellbeing. It offers fresh air, gentle activity, a sense of routine and the simple joy of seeing something grow. Even watering plants or sitting outside among flowers can brighten the day.

A huge thank you to all the local primary schools who have entered our colouring competition. We have received over 150 entries so far, and we have loved seeing all of your fantastic pictures.
