Every Tuesday between 10am and 2pm our poetry group 'Sunlight Shared Verse' meets in the radio sunlight studio. They read aloud poems they've written themselves and from other poets, and their dulcet tones are played into Cafe Sunlight for everyone to enjoy, drifting through the air like rose petals in the wind. The group is open to everyone, if you'd like to join in, drop by on a Tuesday and ask to speak to Rob or Win. Hear from you soon! (geddit??)

Sunlight Shared Verse is part of our Wellbeing Cafe daytime creative programme

Do you like talking, sharing ideas, or telling your life stories? Would you like other people to hear them online? Would you like people to understand more about your life and the challenges you face? We've started a new podcasting group to support people with learning difficulties and we'd love you to join us between 1pm and 3pm on Thursdays in our studio!

In this group, you can:

🎤 Talk about things that matter to you
💬 Share your thoughts and experiences
🤝 Learn how to speak up for yourself (self-advocacy)
🎧 Help the community understand learning disabilities/difficulties better
😄 Have fun and meet new people

You don't need any experience with podcasts, we'll help you learn everything step by step. This is a safe, friendly space where your voice matters!

Often, we mention red flags in a relationship, since many abusive partners manipulate feelings and experiences to make it seem like they are not bad.

Red flags are also important to note, since they are signs that things are problematic and could worsen. However, green flags, which are signs of a healthy and positive relationship, are also important to recognize.
