Hi Everyone, we would like to thank all our customers for booking with us over the years. Due to the uncertainty of covid and the future that this brings we won't be operating any trips for the duration of 2021. This may change however for the 2022 season.

Hi everyone, i know there has been alot of disappointment over the last few weeks as we have had to cancel trips for fishing and ailsa craig due to covid 19. we would like to thank all our customers new and old that got to sail with us this year and to those that didn't get to go due to this virus for understanding. our season will start again in march, stay safe everyone

AILSA CRAIG TRIPS FROM GIRVAN

Join us on board M.V.Huntress for a trip from Girvan Harbour to the enchanting Ailsa Craig. We run Various schedules and our trips can be 4/6 or 8hrs in duration. From Girvan we are at the island in 45mins and normally are able to land our guests ashore for 2hrs for some exploring or picnicking. Upon boarding Huntress after your shore visit you will take a slow sail round the island ,pausing at the rear face for pictures etc of the thousands of birds which have made Ailsa Craig their home. Seals are in abundance and there are also regular sightings of Basking Sharks along with the occasional glimpse of a Minke Whale. Once we have come full circle we head for Girvan Harbour where we will arrive 45mins later. We offer full toilet facilities aboard and also Tea/Coffee on the way home. Huntress is fully coded and insured for 12 passengers and 2 crew. Our small commercial workboat certificate is clearly displayed on the rear wheelhouse window.We have more than ample safety equipment and carry two seperate liferafts along with more than 20 lifejackets in various sizes including children.3x vhf radios keep us in contant touch with Belfast Coastguard and of course we have a selection of first aid kits aboard.

Should you prefer to try a spot of sea fishing we also offer 4/6 or 8hr trips along with rod and equipment hire should you not have your own. Our skipper has over 40yrs experience on the Clyde and will do his best to keep you busy! For fishing we limit the spaces to 10 persons .

Prices.......

For Ailsa Craig we charge £30 per person for a 4hr trip. For 6hrs it is £45 and 8hrs its £55.
