High Oaks is a small, independent home for adults over 18, including over 65′s, with severe mental health conditions We offer sixteen residential places.
The home is set in a quiet location near Diss, Norfolk. The spacious, peaceful environment together with our dedicated core team, produces a positive track record – reduced anger and challenging behaviour, beneficial for schizophrenia, bi-polar affective disorder, past drug and alcohol mis-use. Short, medium and long-term placements including emergency/crisis respite care as an alternative to hospital admission and planned respite care are accommodated. Local towns and Norwich city are easily accessed with regular trips using High Oaks own transportation or local bus services. We take referrals from throughout the UK
Tucked away in peaceful countryside, High Oaks is surrounded by nature, fresh air, and the gentle sounds of the countryside.

Hi everyone!
Over the last year we have been very busy here at High Oaks, not only with the support workers continuing to do the great jobs they do supporting those who live at High Oaks but also with the planning, building and completion of two very bespoke chalets.

We are offering 36.75hrs per week, and also part time (24.5hrs) contracts with the opportunity to pick up some extra shifts when available. We offer a variety of shifts including and not only -
0745hrs – 1400hrs.
1400hrs – 2200hrs.
0745hrs – 2000hrs.
1945hrs – 0800hrs Sleep nights.

Our dedicated staff team is led by experienced Manager Jane Jiggens. The team takes a non-judgemental approach, allowing people to be themselves. We support positive risk-taking, empowering people to explore their possibilities and limitations. This helps to produce our successful track record in reducing anger and challenging behaviour. It is beneficial for schizophrenia, bi-polar affective disorder, past drug and alcohol mis-use.
We are known for our success with people whose care in other establishments has repeatedly broken down.
We offer sixteen residential and two day-care places. Short, medium and long-term placements are accommodated. We also provide planned respite care and emergency/crisis respite as an alternative to hospital admission.
24-hour care is provided, including waking and sleeping night staff.
Local towns and Norwich city are easily accessed with regular trips using High Oaks own transportation or local bus services.
We take referrals from throughout the UK.
