πŸ’› Plenty rest and sleep
πŸ’› Plenty nurture - warm drinks, blankets, hot water bottles, cuddles
πŸ’› Journal
πŸ’› Gentle movement - yoga, stretching, t'ai chi or even a wee swim or walk.
πŸ’› Eat!!!!!!!! Eat as much good food as you can. Lack of food keeps the body in stress mode.

The aftercare is of equal importance to the process itself. Everybody wants the big release, but it will just sink right back into your fascia if you don't nurture yourself πŸ™

Ladies, are you ready?

Ami and I have been following this fantastic Holistic Practitioner online, who very candidly challenges the patriarchal nature of New Age Spirituality. In a nutshell, we as women are taught to move from the heart space all the time, to be fairies, to be floaty, to be pure, to fawn, to be gentle, to wear white linen and dance around some flowers.

In other words, our anger is suppressed!!!! When in fact, anger is a very powerful and useful emotional platform for women. Anger is not something that is masculine, or unsexy, or unattractive. It's not something that should be suppressed (this only buries the anger deeper and causes us internal suffering).

Anger is power, it's expression, its real, its protective, its empowering. Anger needs to be felt.

So anyway, we have bought a bunch of overalls, safety goggles, paint and white bed sheets, to help us engage in anger expression in a fun and free manner.

Woohoo....our first L*D session is this Thursday afternoon, and for WOMEN ONLY.
Our L*D sessions stand for LONG - SLOW - DEEP, and they are assisted stretching sessions, using traditional Thai long cloth for a more therapeutic and effortless stretching experience.

The beautiful thing about assisted stretching is that it is passive stretching, which means you are in full relaxation as someone else stretches you. This passive approach allows your muscles, fibres and facia to enter deeper relaxation and surrender, offering a beautifully therapeutic stretching experience.

Please send us a private message to book, and let us know if you live with any of the following (most of which adaptations can be made for, if we know in advance):

- Pregnancy or under 6 weeks post-pregnancy
- Injury or recent surgery
- Arthritis

Did you make new year resolutions that you struggled to keep?

Well, each new day provides us with an opportunity to reset and reboot.

This half day retreat is only Β£15pp, and available to women only, who are looking for an immersive fitness experience. You do not have to be GI Jane to attend; there are multiple variations available. This is your body and your day!

So often we are fixated on seeking spiritual wellness, and we neglect the wellness that our bodies crave. So, send us a private message if you would like to come along for a fun-packed day of fitness, fellowship and all the feels πŸ’›

Ladies, we have something exciting for you here......we have been asked to work with BAFTA NOMINATED filmmaker Miranda Stern, to co-create a women-led & trauma informed film, capturing the shared experiences of women in recovery, to find release from shame and stigma.

πŸ’› who can take part? - any woman in recovery from addiction, obsessive compulsive disorders, or indeed any debilitating pattern that took you to your knees.

πŸ’› What will be involved? - a series of organic creative workshops, using various tools of expression. These will be professionally filmed.

πŸ’› Will I have support? - yes. There are professional counselling providers on hand.

πŸ’› Can I change my mind? - yes. If you change your mind about being on film at any point, this can be accommodated.

πŸ’› Will I get paid? - yes. There is a financial investment offered to all participants.

πŸ’› Will I be famous? - we hope not! Fame is not a value worth chasing, but creative expression most defintely is.
