🌞 Heat Alert: Stay Safe on the Job! πŸš‘

This week at MERT International, our Response Teams have encountered numerous cases related to heat and sun exposure on our high-risk construction projects. As summer continues, it's crucial to prioritise your health and safety on site, especially in our European locations where temperatures have been soaring.

Here are some essential tips to protect yourself:

πŸ’§ Stay Hydrated: Keep a water bottle with you at all times and drink regularly, even if you don't feel thirsty. Dehydration can sneak up quickly in hot conditions.

🧴 Use Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen generously, especially to exposed skin, and reapply throughout the day. The sun can be relentless, and it's vital to protect yourself from harmful UV rays.

🧒 Wear Protective Gear: wear the correct PPE for your project as this clothing can help shield you from direct sunlight and reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses.

Your health is our top priority!
