I’ve been quietly prepping my next chapter behind the scenes… 🧘🏽‍♂️

My feet are itching for a new adventure.

10 years ago I was in the exact same position….

I felt the itch so, as a young 20 year old, I sold my car, my tools, my playstation, my clothes and bought a one-way ticket to the other side of the world… 🌍 

I kept my cards close to my chests because not everyone met me with the same excitement…

Actually, most people met it with the opposite…

“what if this happens?”
“why would you do that, you should be doing this”
“you can’t do that”

Funnily enough, most of those people have told me the opposite again in those ten years…

“I wish I did what you’re doing”

I’m doing the same again, I’ve only told a handful of people. I’m keeping my cards close to my chest until it’s official.

Truth is though, I’m so so so excited for the next journey but I’m also bricking it. ⚡️

I don’t need the outside noise, I know the next chapter is going to be one of memories, adventure & more stories to tell… 

I’ve been cozy in my comfort zone for the last little while & now it’s time to step outside it.🤙🏽

A cleaaaaaan run from England to Scotland!

All the wonderful strangers who went above and beyond to get me home on the most exciting part of this wild journey! 🏄🏽‍♂️

From Northampton with , to Coventry with Granny & Auntie Sue (not my granny or auntie but now adopted), to Burton with , Lee and Iris, to Warrington with .mercer , to Preston with , to Penrith with & .c.p_2017 , to Lockerbie with , and onwards homeeeeeeee with 💚

This has been a wild journey of kindness, trust, and strength from 61 strangers all over Europe supporting the message behind the challenge……

When you are struggling, you don’t need to do it silently and as tough & daunting as it may feel to ask for help - there will ALWAYS be someone there to help you! 👊🏽

A family member, a friend, a colleague, a neighbour, a team mate, a stranger… and even a stranger who doesn’t speak your language! 🫡

LES ÉTRANGERS DU SIXIEME JOUR 👨🏻🇫🇷

I made it to the Eiffel Tower relying on the help of strangers, Changing The Face Of Men’s Health along the way 🗼

At the Eiffel Tower, I met with the wonderful family of who very generously put together to get my euro tunnel tickets from Paris to London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

It felt good to hear a familiar accent, a home felt humour, and a sense of the home stretch 👊🏽💚

In London, I had planned to find a stranger at St Pancras to get me out of central and use a offering of lifts & train tickets from from Coeventry onwards, the plan was to get as farrrr north as possible & use a hotel booking from to crash 😮‍💨

But St Pancras was wildlyyyy busy and nobody was stopping, so I used the train ticket from earlier to get out and line up the home stretch for tomorrow 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

is actually my uncle, so not technically a stranger, but as I get closer to home I felt it was right to take an offer from a family member because at the end of the day, if I was really struggling I would reach out closer to home before reaching out to a stranger… and that is the message behind this incredibly wild challenge - if you’re struggling, reach out because there is always someone there to help; family, friends, colleagues, and even strangers (foreign ones too 😅)
