🚀 Exciting news! My business has a new look! 🚀

I'm thrilled to share that I have officially rebranded to✨Dunlop Work Wellness ✨where I am going to continue offering Mental Health First Aid training with the extension of Wellbeing Consultancy, placing special emphasis on promoting wellbeing practices in the workplace.

Stepping away from buzzwords, Dunlop Work Wellness is about having those raw and vulnerable discussions. The focus is to build realistic tools that are tailored specifically to the business, allowing your people to thrive. 💫

Had the pleasure of working with Cruden Group over the past few months in developing a bespoke Manager Awareness session. After utilising this training with two separate groups I could sense the sheer commitment from their managers to break down this deep rooted stigma that still lies in the construction industry.

Bespoke training is a fantastic way to give learners the exact tools they need to formulate effective mental health practice in their environment. Big thanks to Elite Training for giving me this opportunity!

A project I am working on this month. 👷🏼‍♀️

I will be focussing on the silent crisis the construction industry are facing in relation to mental health. Construction is male dominated and we still live in a culture of toxic masculinity. This is one of many reasons to why there is still high levels of stigma in this industry. Workers therefore do not feel like they can safely speak out about their mental health struggles, causing one of the highest su***de rates compared to other industries.

It is important employers take this seriously to make productive changes in the industry. This will be a big part of my offering going forward and I am going to be working with a leading construction company next month on how we can implement a proactive well-being plan for workers. It's not about a tick box, rather a tool box that can be used by everyone. 🔧💥
