Jumping on the trend not just to share how much eye liner I used to wear, but to spread a strong message that I really believe in.
In 2016, my relationship with my body was scarred by control. I micromanaged food and exercise because I didn’t like how I looked, and I thought discipline was the answer. A decade later, I have learnt to move, train, and fuel myself from a completely different place of respect and trust rather than punishment.
I’m so proud of the growth I’ve made over the past ten years and I am still learning. Listening to my body’s signals can be difficult, especially in my career. But ultimately, I am so full of love for the life I’ve built and the people I choose to have around me.
If sharing this helps even one person build a more intuitive, compassionate relationship with their body, then it’s all been worth it. 🧡
