Dear AHP Professional Bodies

I am delighted to inform you that the Return to practice (HCPC) programme is now live on the NHS England learning hub platform.

This course is intended to improve understanding of the HCPC return to practice process and the support offered by The NHS England Return to Practice programme for HCPC returners.

The course offers specific content for returners, supervisors, and organisations. As everyone involved in the return to practice process gains a better understanding of the process and the support available, returners can be supported more effectively to rejoin the health and care workforce.

Calling all P&O practice educators who provide educator support to P&O apprentices

BAPO is holding an engagement event for all practice educators who support apprentices. The event will be hosted by the BAPO Practice Educator Network; however, non-members are welcome to join too.

This is an opportunity to speak directly with the P&O academic team at University of Derby. The event will be facilitated by Dr Beverley Durrant, who is leading an NHSE funded project for and on behalf of BAPO. This is a collaborative project, and we would love to hear your views to help secure future P&O apprenticeship sustainability. Getting the educator support right will be vital to achieving this, and so we want to hear your views on what needs to change or be maintained, to ensure that P&O apprentices can thrive and educators are enabled and supported.
