PsychSpace is a psychological service provided by trainee Health Psychologist, Cheryl Venart
Providing a holistic approach to psychotherapy and when supporting individuals with changing their behaviours. Training in health psychology means I can help you not only with your mental health, but also adapt and manage your physical health. I help you to reach the goals you set, whether that's individually in therapy, as a student, or as an organisation. Health psychology applies to us all, as we have both physical and mental health. Harnessing the power of health psychology will enable you to improve your overall wellbeing, self-esteem and provides you with some dedicated time for you. In the therapeutic context, I am specialised in providing cognitive behavioural therapy and person-centred therapy. I am also informed by other modalities, such as acceptance and commitment therapy. I am experienced in supporting carers, individuals with depression, anxiety, serious health conditions, chronic pain, intimacy issues, diabetes, individuals who have experienced injury and people simply looking to become healthier. Moreover, I have extensive experience in working with neurodivergent individuals, both therapeutically and in tutoring/mentoring contexts. If you think psychology may be able to help you out in any way, please get in touch. I am currently providing sessions via online means in line with COVID-19 restrictions. There is future potential to provide walking therapy if requested.
