HOW DO YOU ENSURE THAT THE SHADE WILL BE CORRECT?

Your practitioner will make assessments on the day of your consultation with regards to your existing hair and profiles. Your practitioner will blend the ink as required to ensure the right colour is met. As density is built up over the course of your sessions, the shading may be altered to ensure a natural finish is achieved whilst blending into existing follicles.

We always start on the lighter side to ensure the blend is going to be perfect.

DOES IT HURT?

Here at Scalp Cosmetics we take every care to ensure client comfort, and this includes investing in premium equipment and needles to minimise pain and discomfort.

Scalp Micropigmentation can last for 10+ years.

We do, however, recommend a touch up every four to six years to keep your treatment looking as fresh and crisp as new.

IS THERE ANY UPKEEP INVOLVED WITH SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION (SMP)?

There are aftercare requirements for the first two weeks following your last session, but in the long run, no.

If you're totally bald, you'll just need to continue to shave if the ink is placed somewhere you didn't grow hair primarily to ensure a natural finish is achieved.

Can I customise my treatment?

Yes! Your hairline is drawn on during your consultation as the planning phase. You can control how dark, light the pigment is as well as how straight, natural or faded your hairline will be. We can also add in side profiles to create that perfect frame for your face!
