I was speaking to a friend yesterday about why I love chi-focused therapies so much. โฃ

The thing is, there are ๐๐๐๐ ways to invigorate and rebalance your life force. โฃ
โฃ
We can do so with exercise, diet, with our connection to nature, with s*x, with laughter, art, music, and any other form of connection and expression. โฃ
โฃ
๐๐ถ๐ต; I know that it can be difficult, when we become disregulated through the fast pace of modern life, excess socialising over winter, parenthood and the lack of community-driven life, to find the motivation to prioritise and actualise those healthy habits in the first place. โฃ

I see therapies like clinical reflexology, cupping and energy work as absolute necessities. โฃ
โฃ
It blows my mind to see them diluted across the spa and beauty industries as luxuries, when to me, they are ๐ป๐ผ๐ป ๐ป๐ฒ๐ด๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐. โฃ

Having regular body work is a foundational tool for overall physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. โฃ
โฃ
By that, I mean, it is our body mind, our nervous system and are hormones that form ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ถ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ช๐ค๐ฉ ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ฆ๐น๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ช๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ช๐ง๐ฆ. โฃ

Without a focus on stabilising those, we end up allowing the subconscious to run wild and our survival mechanisms to run the show. โฃ
