There’s a moment in every class when the whole room softens.
Shoulders drop. Breathing steadies.
A quiet “ahhh” moves through the body.

If your body is tired, if your mind is full, or if you haven’t had a proper exhale in a while… this class is for you. Gentle. Supportive. Slow enough to feel.

We kick ours off with movement, laughter, and a whole lot of joy. 💛
Every Monday and Friday morning, this brilliant crew shows up for themselves — and for each other. There’s something special about the way we shuggle off the weekend or ease our way into it — rolling out our mats and moving together with curiosity and care.

I’m so proud of what we’ve built — a space full of encouragement, strength, and plenty of laughter. 🌿💪

🐾 Yoga - For When Life Gets Messy

Life’s often a bit of a guddle — unpredictable, untidy, and not quite as we’d planned.
That’s when a steady yoga practice becomes the glue that holds it all together. ✨
Yoga isn’t about perfection.
It’s about showing up — again and again.
With practice. With patience. And buckets full of hope, 💛
A bit like the puppy training currently happening in my house. 🐶
Some days it goes brilliantly… other days, not so much.
Both count. Both are practice. 🙃
Yoga helps me steady my breath. Soothes my edges. And gives me a wee bit more spaciousness — in my body, in my mind, and in how I meet the day. 🌿

So keep showing up — even when it’s not pretty, polished, or planned.
Because somewhere between the puddles and the pauses 💦⏸️ the magic happens. 💛

Halloween can pull us into the whirl of consumerism, costumes, and an overload of sugar — bright lights, busy minds, and a belly full of buzz. But beneath it all, there’s an invitation to pause.

To curl in.
To draw close.

Supersonic puppy chaos at 6am.
A little fox cub, stirring mischief, fun, and joy. 🎉

I have audacious hope ✨
that I’ll find the patience, space,
and energy to match her mayhem.

Then comes stillness. 🌿
My voice softens.
My breath deepens.
The mental noise eases.

Mayple reminds me to pause,
step away from screens,
and return to what matters —

Yoga Rebel 🐾

If I look a bit weary this week, it’s because we’ve just welcomed 🥳 a new little pup into our lives — Mayple — our brand-new yoga rebel.

We lost beautiful Cara, and that loss put into sharp focus just how much light, love and strength she brought to our family. In welcoming Mayple, we hope to carry forward those beautiful qualities — calm, mischief, groundedness and adventure into our lives again.

Here’s to building new memories, leaning into the cycle of life, and carrying forward the light that never truly leaves. Welcome, little one. 💖

This YWJ+ Introduction to Resistance Bands is a series for midlife bodies that crave:

Our beloved black lab passed away this week.

The most inspiring, courageous, and loving dog you could ever have wished for. 💕🐕✨

She’s been our family’s anchor ⚓️ through every season — steady, loyal, and full of heart. 🌸🌿

Now she’s our North Star 🌟
Guiding us from beyond, just as she always did from her favourite spot on the sofa. 🛋️💫

The yoga sitting room feels a little emptier without her gentle presence,
but her spirit fills every quiet corner. 🌙🕯️🌻

Thank you, Cara O’Hara, for the love, the lessons, and the light you leave behind.
