I completed Planoplas training at the end of 2025, and I’m delighted to bring this exciting advanced treatment to the clinic.

Planoplas uses plasma energy to treat a number of skin concerns in a gentle, non-surgical way. It offers excellent results with minimal disruption, treating problem areas and rejuvenating skin.

A big thank you to the wonderful Kelly from Cosmopro, who travelled all the way from Mansfield to provide extensive one-on-one training so that I can provide this treatment to my clients.

Happy New Year!

I thought it was time to reintroduce myself since it’s a new year and there are lots of lovely new faces following here.

I’m Nicola, aka Advanced Nurse Aesthetics 👋

As the name suggests, I’m a qualified nurse and have been since 2003 (that makes me feel old!). I’m educated to Masters level, and my full title is actually N.F. Day MSc, BSc, PgD, SPQ, NMP, RGN, ANP. Phew!

I became an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner in 2021, and Advanced Nurse Aesthetics was born, which I do alongside my job as a Breast Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. As a Nurse Prescriber, I can prescribe and administer treatment all in one visit, without my patients having to visit a separate prescriber.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me hill walking, boating, holidaying, spending time with my precious family, shouting at my husband, and running about after my kids.

I've been a registered nurse since 2003 and became an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner in 2021. That's decades of medical training, and that foundation and knowledge matter.

When you're choosing someone to work on your face, you're not just picking a treatment. You're trusting someone with your safety, your results, and, honestly, your confidence.

I see people regularly who've had bad experiences elsewhere. Filler in the wrong places. Complications that weren't managed properly. Results that don't look natural. It's heartbreaking, and it's usually preventable.
