Since it was such a nice day yesterday we went for a walk to Cowan Park, had some lovely refreshments at Social Blend cafe and a good chat, whilst soaking in the rays and people watching.

We had a lovely Easter lunch and a visit from the Easter bunny and chatting about everything associated with Easter

Yesterday we had great fun trying to find our eggs at our Easter egg hunt and we all enjoyed sharing and eating them afterwards

We would also like to thank all the P6 children from Carlibar primary school for their wonderful drawings on their Easter cards. We have all enjoyed looking at them and reading them to each other and even trying to guess the puzzles.

Very much appreciated and they cheered us all up thank you very much!

We made our Faberge-inspired eggs for our Easter egg decorating competition. Everyone was very creative which made the judging difficult - well done everyone and congratulations to our winners!

We enjoyed having Bunny&Co mobile petting Zoo visit us with their animals this week - we gave them lots of love and attention! This type of animal-therapy is important for residents and we reminisced about the animals that we used to have.

We had a men’s cinema day where the gents chose and enjoyed a John Wayne movie with snacks and refreshments. We are looking forward to the next one - do you have any recommendations for the movie?
