Yoga is a wonderful practice to observe ourselves, our emotions, thoughts and physical body.
If you feel like you are not connected to yourself, take a moment, it doesn't need to be very long, few minutes go along way. Close your eyes and bring your focus to your breathing. Observe your body inhaling and exhaling. Where do you feel your breathing? How is your breathing today?
If you want, you can add a bit of movement, perhaps few rounds of cat-cows to mobilise your spine or raise arms to the sky.

Missing the sunny Spain!

But yoga can be practiced in sunny and not that sunny places πŸ€— so no excuses to join me this Thursday 6.30pm at Wellbeing Center. We will practice breathing exercises, physical movement and finish with a relaxation practice.

Good morning yogis and yoginis!☺️

I can almost smell my holidays! But before a take a week off, I will be teaching tomorrow 6.30pm at the Wellbeing Center.

It will be a lovely full body Hatha yoga session, to wake up all our muscles and joints as well as calming our busy minds.

Hey, smile!

Smiling is such a powerful action with so many benefits for the body:

β€’ Releases endorphins
β€’ Relieves stress and anxiety
β€’ Lowers blood pressure
β€’ Boosts mood
β€’ Strengthen Immune System
β€’ Increase positivity

But also improve your relationship with other people. How much nicer is to work with smiley colleagues? Or how much more relaxed you feel when the nurse smiles at you at your medical appointment.


Smile is free, feels good on you and makes others feels better too.

'Your life is not something that someone gives you, but something you choose yourself, and you are the one who decides how you live.'

This paragraph seems rather obvious, doesn't it? But is it?
I invite you to take a moment and reflect: are you really living your life the way you want to, or are you living your life based on other people's expectations and standards?

Sometimes it seems easier to choose to do or not do things based on the opinion or standards of others. Sometimes we don't even question why we do the things we do or why we do them the way we do them.

My way of living does not have to be your way of living.

My way of practising yoga doesn't have to be yours and both can be perfectly fine, because both make us feel good in our own bodies.

'Life is too fast, slow down and do yoga.' 🧘

Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the passage of time. It goes too fast. The older I get, the faster it goes by.

Practising yoga doesn't stop time but it helps me slow down and appreciate where I am today and how I got here.

It's been a long (and bumpy) journey ,but here I am, strong as a warrior.
