Please note that from today the practice will only be dealing with issues that are of an urgent nature between the times of 5pm - 6pm everyday. (Closed weekends)

Dear patients,

Due to the increase in Covid cases the practice is now running at a much reduced capacity due to staff absences.

Whereby possible if you are suffering from any non-urgent issues to please consult: www.nhsinform.scot. Which will provide information and advice on most common issues. Community pharmacies are also available for advice and treatment where required.

We would appreciate if you have access to smart phones, tablets or computers with internet, if you could please submit requests for appointments, fit notes and medication via our online request form on our website.

🔹 Aged 50 to 59

🔹 Aged 16 or over and an unpaid carer

The practice systems are now back to fully functioning order. We are now accepting online forms via our website and our telephone system has resumed normal service.

Patient Reminder Notice

As of 5pm tonight there will be no online form facility available to patients. This is due to our clinical systems being updated.

The practice will be operating on an urgent cases only basis. The practice should be back to normal working by Friday.

***PATIENT NOTICE***

Please note Pollokshaws Medical Centre will not be doing any flu injections or COVID-19 boosters this year. If you are due to get this, it will be administered at a community hub. You will receive a letter from the health board with an appointment.

If you are housebound please call the number on the letter and advise them of housebound status and they will arrange a home visit.

THATS A WRAP! Our first COVID-19 vaccine clinic was a success. It was so nice to see so many happy faces today. If you are over 80 and still haven’t received your vaccine not to worry we will be in contact next week for our next clinic. Stay safe from all at PMC 🙂
