Doing the reps means more than following instructions, It's about being mindful...

💭Mindful to slow your reps down.

💭Mindful to work as hard as you can throughout the WHOLE session instead of cherry picking where you put your effort.

💭Mindful of technique on every rep and avoid going through the motions where you're not really focussed on anything.

Without ALL of these things working together, you'll never achieve incredible progress or the body you're looking for BUT...

You have to learn HOW to do these things first.

Doing the reps means practice and if you find these things difficult or don't know where to start then that's a pretty damn good indicator that you need more practice.

We accelerate that learning curve by making sure every time our clients walk through the door they get the coaching they need and we stay focussed on what each client needs.

And it's not your fault...

I know the fitness industry profits from leaving you confused through conflicting advice...

Because then you buy into the latest fads, extreme plans and aim for impossible standards.

And/Or you end up procrastinating, self-sabotaging and thinking you're the problem...

But overwhelm isn’t a character flaw. It’s a signal that the system(s) you’ve been trying to follow aren't designed for you or your life.

Strip it back, reduce the noise, remove the pressure, gain more clarity and that’s when consistency feels easy.

But how do you do it?

You can either do a tonne of research, make a commitment to yourself to trial and error your way through OR get help.

I didn't post this to profit from you, I posted this because I care and because that used to be me. I never gave up and I changed, so why can't you?

What an amazing night for our summer ball 🙌🏼

Blown away by how 40 people who didn't know each other until joining Three Peak Fitness bond and have a great night together.

One of our clients said to me last night "this isn't just a gym programme, it really is a community."

That meant the world to me.

Because I want people to know that the journey to getting their dream results doesn't have to be boring - you can have fun doing it.

I felt that last night!

These 2 legends won a prize for the biggest lifts of the day at our latest community event.

Everyone who came to the event left with a personal best but this is what I've come to realise...

It's not about the weight lifted and it's not about the exercise. It's everyone coming together, the high fives, the laughs, the encouragement - the community.

The rest is just a bonus so I can't wait til the next one in 2 weeks time 🙌🏼

Still hands down one of the best community events we run but I'm looking forward to Maggie's Rock n Rodeo this weekend for our summer ball!

I've always believed in setting an example for those I mean to inspire...

I've also always believed that the best thing we can pass to the next generation is the skills and knowledge to live a healthy life that lets you look and feel the way you want to...

2 of our clients, Graeme and Lynsey did both of those things recently at the Mactuff challenge with their kids.

Graeme came to us with a lower back and shoulder injury and Lynsey is asthmatic and was really struggling to run the length of herself in the beginning.

Now looking at these 2 (Graeme only 2 months in and Lynsey over a year in the programme), they are being an inspiration to themselves, their families and all other parents out there.

Parents who look at things like the Mactuff challenge and wish they could do stuff like that with their kids but don't have the strength or fitness to even run around the garden without needing to lie down.

You don't need to wait for the 'right time', you don't need to wait until you're 'fit to join', your injuries and health conditions aren't an excuse for settling for a life where neither you OR your kids are getting the best of you.

So why would you not want to get back into the driver's seat? Why wouldn't you want to change your situation for the better? Why wouldn't you want to start living better and pass that knowledge on?

Our clients are all shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels. But I'm going to prove to you this week that the Results For Life programme works for ANYONE...

The May Saturday Social 🙌🏼 Every month we take all our clients out for coffee and 15 amazing people made it this month which was a great buzz.

Doing little things like this is what makes us a community, it's what builds genuine relationships and it's one of the many things we do so our clients get more than just workouts and a nutrition plan through their coaching journey.

We had 15 new clients join us in April and the one thing I keep getting told is how different we are from anything else out there.

It's so rewarding to know that other people see and feel the difference working with us because we want to be different from anything else you'll experience out there in the personal training market.

I'll be honest... 1:1 & online coaching is boring for both parties...

Unless you work with someone you really connect with in the gym, 1:1 very quickly becomes about counting numbers and "2 more reps" when you start to struggle.

Side note: the only reason your coach says this is to snap out their daydream and feel a little better about getting distracted by what they are going to have for dinner...

Then with online coaching, you never actually meet with the person so it becomes this weird kind of relationship where neither of you fully understands each other, you're expected to know what to do and the whole experience becomes very transactional...

ALSO, in today's market, online and 1:1 coaching are priced pretty similarly.

So what's the difference between those options and small group PT?

Firstly I've been a coach for over 10 years so I know why people fail with coaches (because I've experienced it on both sides):

1️⃣ You don't know what you're doing in the gym so you're told that 1 session a week will give you the education to learn. The problem is, that's going to take a long-long time if you're only seeing your coach once a week.
2️⃣ The solution then is to do more, but if you want to see that coach twice a week you'll need to pay double the price. How long can you sustain that financially?
3️⃣ The final and main reason people fail with 1:1 coaching is 3-fold... They run out of motivation, run out of money and as a result, they stop getting results.
