Following the launch of a new generation of dental examinations, the Dental Examinations Executive will be hosting online drop-in sessions for prospective candidates.

Here, you can ask questions about the new tri-collegiate MFDS and Dental Specialty Fellowship examinations commencing in October 2026.

The first session is on Tuesday 19 May, with other dates available between June and September.

Our new exhibition of one of the world’s most celebrated and rare books: The Birds of America by John James Audubon opens today.

First published between 1827 and 1838, The Birds of America consists of 435 hand-coloured, life-sized paintings of birds from across North America.

The landmark ornithological study enhanced scientific understanding of birds, their behaviour and natural habitats.
