It feels like so many people I know are coming down with nasty viruses and infections lately.
Getting ill from time to time is unavoidable — and even helpful — because it strengthens our immune system. But there are things we can do to support our bodies, especially during stressful seasons.
Here’s what’s been helping me stay well over the past year:
🌿 Probiotics for gut health
🍊 Natural antioxidants (especially vitamin C from orange fruits and berries) to support immunity
💪 Feroglobin — I’ve been taking it for over 10 years to keep my iron levels up. It’s gentle, rich in B vitamins, and great if you lead a busy or stressful life.
🌸 At the first sign of a cold, I use effervescent Echinacea to help my body fight it off more quickly.
Of course, a healthy diet and lifestyle are the foundation — but if you’re constantly around others who are unwell, dealing with stress, lacking sleep, or missing daylight exercise because of work hours, these supports can really help.
One of the biggest factors? Stress.
This time of year, nature slows down… yet we push ourselves harder: more pressure, busier nights out, and the stress of Christmas planning. It’s no wonder our bodies struggle.
