CrossReach Counselling @ CrossReach Counselling we offer whole family counselling to adults, children & young people Counselling and Support for Perinatal Depression in Glasgow.

The term perinatal depression encompasses a wide range of mood disorders that can affect a woman during pregnancy and after the birth of her child. It includes prenatal depression, the "baby blues," postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. Expecting/having a baby is a major event in a parent's life, which can lead to feelings of anxiety, fear and sometimes depression. Counselling can offer the opportunity for parents to understand their depression, to look at the changes in themselves and to find ways to help them cope in a safe, compassionate environment. The wee ones and families at Perinatal Creche Edinburgh had their first Messy Play event yesterday!
Oh boy, it was super fun!! We got serious with the mess and used all our senses to explore; tastes, textures and colours of the paints, jelly, water, foam and much much more!
We played and shared our favorite messy play activites even taking some ideas to try at home!
A BIG THANK YOU to all who took part...we can't wait for the next one.

Bluebell Perinatal Service offers counselling and support for perinatal depression in Glasgow. The term perinatal depression encompasses a wide range of mood disorders that can affect a woman during pregnancy and after the birth of her child. It includes prenatal depression, the "baby blues," postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis.
