Helping Those Children Who Need It Most

We believe that every child in Scotland deserves the very best start in life, with the aim of ensuring that children and young people in Scotland have the opportunity to grow and develop to their full potential, no matter the circumstances they were born into. We’re a grant-providing charity that aims to make a positive difference to children’s lives through the alleviation of the impact of poverty, financial hardship, disability, illness or socio-economic disadvantage. We’re proud to be the charity that receives funding from the Scottish Children’s Lottery. Every ticket bought directly benefits good causes for children in Scotland. Chance to Flourish is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO number: SC046177).

We were thrilled to award £4,000 to the Carnwadric WIN Project, a fantastic charity supporting vulnerable families in Arden, Carnwadric and Kennishead.

The funding helped launch a brand new youth club for 12–18 year olds, providing a safe, positive space where young people can build confidence, learn life skills and just be themselves.

From drama and CV workshops to cooking lessons at The Hub @ Cardonald College, the youth club offers real opportunities for growth and fun! Weekly sessions are run by a Volunteer Coordinator and Youth Worker, with support from the project’s amazing young volunteers (some already earning their Saltire Awards!).

The WIN Project has a strong track record of empowering families through 1-to-1 support, family clubs and arts activities and this new initiative gives young people the chance to thrive, connect, and feel proud of who they are.

Every time someone plays it helps make a real difference, just like this one.

Play the Scottish Children's Lottery and support great causes!

At the heart of Inverness, Rokzkool Academy SCIO is giving young people a space to be creative, connect with others, and grow in confidence. We recently awarded the charity £4,000 to supporting their inspiring work at Studio 58.

Through music, art, and creative activities, Rokzkool helps young people build confidence, make friends, and find a real sense of belonging. This funding is helping to provide free places in their classes for children and young people who might otherwise miss out.

From music sessions to art clubs (and even plans for film and board game groups!), Rokzkool are creating a safe and supportive space where young people can express themselves and thrive.

Thanks to players of the Scottish Children's Lottery, this amazing work is possible.
