Grief 💔

Today marks 8 years since I lost my Mum, and my Dad passed away in 2004. This is the last photo I had taken with both of them.

Grief never leaves us. The pain can soften with time, but can also still unexpectedly hit you full force in the gut!

What I’ve learned is that while life does go on, we don’t have to bury our feelings. Grief is a process, it takes time. There is no ‘right way’. Your journey with grief is yours alone, but that doesn’t mean you have to carry it by yourself.

If you’re struggling with grief, in whatever form it takes, please know you’re not alone. Be gentle with yourself. Healing isn’t straightforward and remembering is simply another way of loving.

Absolutely buzzing to meet last night!!! Totally girl fanning! 🥰 A brilliant show hosted by and a guest appearance by the ever lovely

I love Davina! Not only is she a bit mad but completely open and honest. ‘The Davina Effect’ caused a societal shift in attitudes towards menopause, breaking taboos and encouraging proactive care. Women don’t have to just get on with it!!!

Women still face huge healthcare inequalities, and it’s time we changed that. My mission is about giving women the help they deserve and reminding them that it’s okay, to invest in their own health!

September is Gyneacological Cancer Awareness Month 💜

Did you know there are five types of gynaecological cancer—ovarian, endometrial, vulvar, vaginal, and cervical?

Many symptoms of gynecologic cancers can be easy to overlook or mistaken for something else. That’s why awareness matters. If you notice unusual changes—such as irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, or changes in discharge—it’s important to get checked.

Early detection makes a difference. If you feel something, say something!

Progress!!!! Androfeme cream, a testosterone cream designed to be used by women, has been approved for use in the UK by the MHRA and is expected to be available in 2026.

Why is this good? Well currently there is not any licenced/approved product of testosterone for use by women here in the UK. Women have to either use much smaller doses of gels designed to be used by men, or obtain Androfeme cream via import on a private prescription.

Having a product designed specifically for women, allows easier administration and more uniform dosage. It also allows allows for prescribers to feel more comfortable in their decision to prescribe, which makes access to treatment easier.

Although this still requires review by SMC before it can be prescribed on the NHS in Scotland, it’s a step closer to providing women with accessible and equitable menopause care 💪🏽
