We are very grateful to Councillor Sean Ferguson for coming along to support the Cosgrove Theatre Players in their premier of 'The Misfits' documentary! Councillor Ferguson was able to see at first hand the incredible drama performance by the players, meet families, supported people, staff, and volunteers. We are very grateful for Councillor Ferguson's ongoing interest and support of the work of Cosgrove Care.

Heather, Anna, and other team members joined the ESGA Age Scotland funded art group for tea recently. ☕

Age Scotland have funded a number of activities, including the Creation Of Life storybooks. We had a chance to pop in for a visit to see some of the incredible artwork being created and, a chance to catch-up with Susan Kennedy, Arts Facilitator to hear about the work of the group. The next session will be delivered by 'Hear My Music' and will support older people to work on musicality concentration and communication.

"We are very grateful to the Age Scotland ESGA fund for supporting this brilliant group work, we look forward to many more varied sessions tackling early onset dementia and improving wellbeing!"

Anna and Heather presented Kathy Hunter with flowers and a card from Cosgrove Care on Monday the 8th of December. Kathy Hunter retires from Cosgrove after 21 years service as a support worker at Braidholm Road and Burnfield Road. Kathy has made a really positive difference in the lives of many people that she has supported!

Heather Gray, CEO said:
"Kathy has been such a positive influence in the lives of many, we will truly miss her energy and enthusiasm and we wish her well in her retirement".

The incredible Soloway Ukrainian Choir performed for Cosgrove Care on Monday 1 December as part of our Cosgrove Players Film premier of Misfits! The power and beauty of their voices moved everyone present.

There is an opportunity to see this choir at Glasgow Cathedral on 11 December 2025. Cosgrove Care is very proud to have some of the choir members work for our organisation. ✨
