Dying Matters Awareness Week
This Dying Matters Awareness Week, we’re gently encouraging open conversations about death, dying, and bereavement. It’s okay to talk, and it can make a meaningful difference.
Research shows that many people still find these conversations difficult, often keeping their feelings to themselves. Yet when we share our thoughts, worries, and experiences, we can feel less alone and better supported when loss touches our lives.
Death, dying, and bereavement affect us all. This week is about creating space for honest, compassionate conversations, with family, friends, colleagues, or anyone you trust, and reminding one another that it’s okay to talk. Sometimes, starting the conversation is the most caring step of all.
