Reiki in the City started in 2014, just after Rachelle became qualified in Reiki 2, which led to her being a practitioner.
For the last 6 years Rachelle has used her skills as a Social Worker to become a Health and Well-Being Life Coach, Reiki Master and much More!
Over the last 6 years Rachelle has supported her clients on their own journey empowering and supporting, by giving them the tools to enable them to make stronger choices and move forward in the direction they wish to go.
Rachelle’s focus is supporting her clients on their own journey and allowing them to be in control of what they need and want. Rachelle uses her own life experiences to work with the client to show that she understands that life can sometimes be chaotic and crazy.
Rachelle, herself is a single parent and went from working full-time in Social Work to running her own business, it was a hard decision to jump from being employed to being self-employed, but she believes that this was the best thing she has ever done.
Rachelle is a down to earth woman, who does speak her mind and “will tell it like it is” she offers a tough love approach but is also caring and understanding to her clients needs. She is also keeping up to date with new services that she can offer and will admit that she is a bit of a “serial learner” as she always has a course on the go! Rachelle feels this support her and the job she does to help the client get the best service possible.
Rachelle often writes about her life in blogs to let other people know that they are not alone in situations and that other people are going through similar experience. In the blogs she offers and provides guidance on how someone can ask for the support they need, whether this is them contacting Rachelle or being signposted to other services, Rachelle always ensure that she puts her client first.
Rachelle (finally) set up her academy in June this year, providing another outlet for those who want to make changes in their life and have the support of a community group behind them, along with Rachelle. The purpose of this group is help individuals grow and move forward learning new skills and different ways to manage their lives- whether this be chaotic at times or just to learn about themselves.
Rachelle hopes that the Reiki in the City community will continue to grow and people will enjoy what she does best, supporting those on their own path.
