We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and professional team! You’ll play a key role in managing the dispensary, handling day-to-day activities, and working alongside two experienced pharmacists.

What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Managing the dispensary, including stock control & dispensing medication
✔ Supporting care home services & working with our robotic MDS system
✔ Assisting a small number of substance misuse patients
✔ Providing excellent customer service in a warm, friendly environment

Penney Pharmacy are currently looking for a Pharmacy Student to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in Cathcart, Glasgow.

You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients as well as healthcare professionals. You will assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate. You will become an ambassador for Penney Pharmacy serving the community and interacting with customers on a day to day basis.

What we need from you...

Applicants considered will be:
Studying towards obtaining a Mpharm Degree
Enjoy working in a customer focused environment
Understand the importance of confidentiality
Ensure accurate handling of medicines
Able to demonstrate self-motivation & initiative
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise work load
Ability to work to deadlines

The hours of work for the role are:

Total Hours Contracted 4.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: 9 - 1.30 on a Saturday

Penney Pharmacy are now offering ear wax removal with microsuction!
Microsuction is considered to be safer and more comfortable than other each wax removal methods such as irrigation or ear syringing.
Each appointment will take approximately 30 minutes and cost £50.
