📣 Did you know? 📣

The lymphatic system is responsible for transporting that fluid away from the tissues and back toward the bloodstream to be processed.

When inflammation is elevated, stress is chronic, sleep is poor or movement is limited, that clearance process can become less efficient.

This can show up as:

• Persistent puffiness

• A heavy or ‘full’ feeling in the limbs

• Slower recovery

• Tissue tenderness

• Skin looking dull or inflamed

Lymphatic bodywork works with superficial tissue layers to encourage fluid movement and reduce interstitial congestion.

It’s subtle work - but it’s purposeful.

If your body feels like it’s holding onto things- fluid, tension, stagnation - that’s usually a sign it needs support, not force.

This is why I don’t use aggressive pressure during lymphatic treatments.

The lymphatic vessels sit just beneath the skin.

Heavy pressure can actually collapse them.

Gentle doesn’t mean ineffective.
