Here are some steps to keep your eyes safe when wearing contact lenses:

👁️Always wash your hands with soap and water, and dry them thoroughly before touching your lenses
👁️Avoid using tap water to rinse or clean your lenses
👁️Don’t swim or shower in your contact lenses
👁️Don’t sleep in your contact lenses
👁️Ensure you replace your contact lenses as often as instructed by your optician
👁️Replace your case every month
👁️Attend your optician for regular contact lens checks

👁️June is cataract awareness month 👁️

A cataract is when the clear lens inside your eye starts to become cloudy causing your vision to be blurred. This is a slow process that normally occurs as we get older. A routine eye test helps to detect cataracts early.
