Yoga for Peri Menopause Workshop

If you’re aged 35+ it’s likely you’ve started to experience some of the symptoms of peri-menopause. This might include, insomnia, anxiety, fatigue, changes in tolerance to exercise, mental fogginess, reduced libido, and weight gain.
One of the reasons these symptoms start is because the hormone progesterone starts to decline. It’s a natural transition to menopause, lasting around 15 years.
Yoga can help you to manage the stressors which exacerbate negative symptoms of peri-menopause and menopause. It’s a non-pharmacological approach which is effective on its own and complements hormone therapy.
In this 2.5hr yoga for peri-menopause workshop you will learn:
* How your menstrual cycle and hormones play in a vital role to your health
* Yoga techniques to help alleviate common symptoms associated with peri-menopause and menopause
* Adaptations to your yoga practice and exercise plan which can help you deal with the transition to menopause

Sarah Potter qualified as a yoga teacher in 2010 (500hr). She draws on hatha, ashtanga, and yin, styles to respond to the needs of each student.
Sarah has been teaching pre natal yoga for several years, and became a post natal yoga specialist in 2023. This year she qualified as a holistic health coach for women.
