Are you planning to emigrate or move to another home nation within the UK? 🏡✈️

Before you make the move, consider requesting a copy of your medical records. These records won't automatically transfer outside the UK and may take a long time to catch up if you move to another home nation. Having a copy on hand ensures your new healthcare provider has immediate access to your medical history, which is crucial for continuity of care.

Please note that it can take up to 30 days for your request to be processed, so plan ahead! 🗓️

Stay informed and take control of your health! 💪

We work very closely with our allied Community Nursing, Health Visiting and Specialist Teams to ensure your care is co-ordinated to the highest of standards. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have.

To improve our accessibility to patients, we are introducing a new system on Tuesday 13/08/2024 called askmyGP. This easy-to-use system allows us to prioritise all contacts with the practice and determine the appropriate course of action. If necessary, we can make an appointment on the same day or alternatively provide advice , prescriptions, or sick notes.
The link will be at the top of our website home page at launch. If you struggle to use a computer, smart phone, or tablet, you can still phone the practice, and we will enter the details of your request for you.
Please note requests need to be made through this system which will be available each day Monday to Friday from 8 am to 12 noon. Anything routine after this time will require to be logged on askmyGP the following working day.

Braidcraft Medical Centre will be closed on Monday 25th December and Tuesday 26th December for Christmas Holidays. We will reopen on Wednesday 27th December at 08:30 am.

We will then be closed again on Monday 1st January and Tuesday 2nd January for the New Year Holidays. We will then reopen on Wednesday 3rd January at 08:30 am.

For urgent care or advice when we are closed please phone 111.
