Hello everyone,
Just checking in with you all, wishing everyone a Happy Easter, even in these challenging times.
How are you all adjusting to this new (but temporary) way of life which will be our 'norm' for just a little while yet. I have definitely struggled to adapt to this and find a way to build connection in the community while keeping others and myself safe. The uncertainty of everything really feeds into our deepest fears so it is Important now more than ever to use strategies to calm, ground and stretch our bodies β and in doing so supporting our immune systems to be as strong as possible.
There will be no gathering together for group classes but this simply means we need to be adaptable and open to doing things differently.
Many teachers are providing online yoga classes which is amazing and there is such a huge variety everyone will find something that suits where they are in their journey. Personally, I have decided not to record classes as for many of my fellow yogis their only income is from their yoga business therefore I would like to support them by attending their classes and not putting myself up as an alternative.
Can I please encourage all of you to create a daily practice at home that suits β it really will help you get through this!
πΊYour physical practice will help keep your body moving, stretching & strengthening keeping you healthy.
ππ£Your breathe work will help bring new fresh air into your lungs & help to keep you calm.
πβββπYour relaxation will keep your body and mind grounded, rested & rejuvenated.
π§βββYour meditation will help give you clear vision & clarity, have an open mind & find inner stillness.
π‘And your whola yoga practice will help you to accept these changes we are currently facing with openess to adaptability, gratitude for what we have & help keep you connected to ALL around you ππ
Although I wonβt be offering online classes I can help with sequences to do at home, links to possible online classes and short videos of accessible chair yoga sessions. Iβm also here if anyone has any questions or just wants to connect.
Stay safe, stay well
Thinking of you all and sending positive thoughts. Being connected will help us all get through this
NAMASTE
