Today has been a day of mixed emotions! Closing the door of my wee clinic forever was strange but I am grateful for my times there and all the lovely people that have come through those doors. Thank you for being loyal wonderful people. You made work a joy…so much so it never felt like work!
Anyway now I await a date for surgery on my hand(trapeziectomy). Hopefully it will be done by end August at the latest.
The up side was going to my daughter and son in laws new home.
Xmas dinner baton has officially passed to them 😂😂.
To top it off was the unbelievable sky tonight!
Have a fabulous summer everyone.
I won’t be posting on this page anymore. My number remains the same.
Please keep in touch.
Roll on retirement.

Indeed!!
This is advanced notice that the clinic at Clarkston will be closing on 30th June.
I won’t be taking on any new clients after then as I am working towards semi- retirement. I will chat to you all no doubt before then.

I have had an amazing time at the clinic and it has never felt like work. I have met wonderful people along the way and have made some lifelong friendships too.

It has been a bit overwhelming as we have changes within our family life too, all nice, but I had to do what the monkey did, and just sit for a while and problem solve…which I think are now resolved 😊

It’s not goodbye just yet😂, just slowing down a little. 💕

This was me the last week. I totally went into overwhelm mode and was unable to think straight, let alone do anything. All the tools I had learned over the years to help me at this time just seemed to escape my field of view.

It took a loving, kind Facebook friend to remind me of the simple things like getting into nature, putting my feet in the ocean to bring me back into a state of calm, where I could finally put things into perspective and think clearly.

Nature is one of our greatest healers, yet sometimes we forget to take the time for ourselves to just immerse ourselves in her gentle, loving embrace.

Happy international women’s day! The first photo was from one of my friends, and the other is from the wonderful writer Donna Ashworth. 💕Sums it up for me.

For years, I used a certain mug for my morning cup of tea. One that someone bought me as a present once.

They probably forgot they’d even given it to me.

I once listened to a song on repeat for days because I fell in love with it after someone told me it was their favourite.

They probably forgot they’d even told me that.

I once had an outfit that I wore over and over after someone stopped me in the street to compliment me on it.

They probably forgot they’d even done that.

They probably forgot.
But I didn’t.

I remembered it all, to the point where the mug and the song and the outfit became little things in my life that brought me great joy.

So never underestimate the little things you do every day. The seemingly trivial, forgettable things.

Because, whilst they might be trivial and forgettable to you, I can almost guarantee that
for someone else…

they could be entirely
the opposite.

Only kidding about retiring. This is just to let you know I’m up to date for the next few years…when I will definitely be considering retiring. 😂
