🍃With Green Health Week approaching, we are highlighting the “Framework for Advancing Green Health in Scotland", which was launched in March 2026, creating a coordinated strategy to embed nature-based solutions into the nation's health system.

🤝Developed by Greenspace Scotland, NatureScot, and Public Health Scotland, the framework aims to create a cohesive national approach that utilises urban nature and greenspaces to improve mental and physical health. Over the next week or so, we will be highlighting local projects who support and deliver Green Health activities that you can become involved with.

🥗 Free School Meals – Check You’re Getting Support!

As of April 2026, all children in P1–P5 in Scotland get free school meals automatically. But did you know families on lower incomes can also get extra help for P6–S6 pupils?

👚 Free School Meals for P6–S6 School Clothing Grants – often £120–£150+ per child each year Help with food costs during school holidays.

You must apply through your local council (even if your child already gets free meals). To check eligibility via your local council website, including Glasgow City Council.
